Peter is a Partner in the practice and completed his training with the firm in 1980. He is one of the leading criminal solicitors in the North East and is always greatly in demand at Gateshead Magistrates Court. He graduated in Law from Newcastle University in 1976.

Phil Shepherd

Phil graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Dual Honours Degree in Ancient History and Archaeology in 1979. He qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and has been a Partner in the practice since 1988. He specialises in Personal Injury Litigation and applications for Employment Disputes. He also handled a wide range of General Civil Litigation including commercial disputes, building disputes etc.

Tom Iceton

Tom graduated in Law at Northumbria University before commencing training with the firm in 1981 and qualifying as a solicitor in 1983. He moved on to work for several local firms before returning to us to become a Partner based at our Gateshead office. He specialises in Criminal Law and is highly regarded by all of the clients that he has represented in the past.

Andrew O'Hanlon

Andrew is a Law Graduate and qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and is now a Partner. Andrew specialises in criminal law and works from both our Benwell and Gateshead offices. His expertise and wealth of experience means he is in great demand from clients.

Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and joined Tait Farrier Graham in 2005, working from our Gateshead office. Peter's practice is exclusively in Family Law and he specialises in the representation of parents and children in Public Law and Private Law Child Care cases. Peter has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel since 2000. Peter also deals with all aspects of relationship breakdown including divorce and financial provision.

Suzanne Todd

Suzanne qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined Tait Farrier Graham that year, working from our Newcastle office. Ian Wilson

Ian Wilson studied Law at Northumbria and finished his degree in 2004. He worked as a caseworker for 12 months before moving to TFG in 2005. He now specialises in criminal law and divides his time between representing clients in the magistrates court, in particular the outlying magistrates court in the area, and at the crown court as part of the Crown Court team. He also represents clients at the police station.


Paul Barron

Paul graduated from Northumbria University with a Degree in Law in 2004. He completed his training with the practice and qualified as a solicitor in January 2007. He is a criminal advocate and heads up the Crown Court Department.

John Williams

John is a Law Graduate and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. Prior to joining the firm, where he is based at our Gateshead office, John ran his own Law Practice and acted as a Consultant. He has been with TFG as a criminal advocate since 2005 and is in great demand from clients.
